Saskatoon Meewasin’s new MLA Nathaniel Teed makes history

Nathaniel Teed of the NDP party was voted in as Saskatoon Meewasin's new Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) on Monday. Teed also represents the 2SLQBTQ+ community and is making history as the first openly gay MLA in Saskatchewan. Before moving to politics he carved a path in education where he noticed the importance of diversity and representation. Speaking to the 2SLGBTQ+ community, Teed says his win is proof there is room in politics for the community.
