Storm Fiona: Premier Houston outlines what financial support Nova Scotians can get

Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston announced on Monday a set of government funding programs, worth $40 million, to help residents and communities recover storm Fiona. The programs include covering certain uninsured losses up to $200,000, with no deductible for residents and small business owners. The funding also provides $100 to every household that lost power for at least 48 hours, $250 to every household that has to pay to remove a tree from their property and more.
