A garage just north of Cobourg was destroyed by fire on Friday morning. Around 7 a.m. emergency crews responded to the blaze on Ontario Street in Hamilton Township, just north of Highway 401. The garage in the backyard of a home was destroyed, and reports say there were flammable liquids and yard work tools inside. No injuries were reported in the fire, and investigation is ongoing to determine the cause and cost of damages.
