Sechelt, B.C. to limit short-term rental licenses
Description
September 21, 2022
Sechelt is the latest B.C. municipality to restrict short-term accommodations. The Sunshine Coast community has as many as 250 short-term rentals, but licenses will be reduced to just 15 next year. As Emad Agahi reports, officials say they are doing this to balance the needs of the tourism industry with those of the people who live there.
