RCMP released chilling new surveillance video Wednesday, showing the moment a cable was cut on the Sea to Sky Gondola in September 2020 near Squamish, nearly crushing a security guard. The suspect has not been identified, and police say that person knew what they were doing, had the right equipment, and knew where to cut the cable to inflict more than $10 million in damage, while the owners have doubled their reward — to more than $500,000 — to find the suspect. Grace Ke reports.
