Thousands of parents across the Okanagan and B.C.. are scrambling to find last-minute daycare for their children after learning just yesterday that schools in this province. will be closed this coming Monday. It’s all part of the National Day of Mourning to mark the Queen’s funeral. Many parents are not happy about the closure and as Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, the missed opportunity to instead use the occasion as a learning moment.
