International Overdose Awareness Day is a global event that aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death. For 31 families in Peterborough, 2022 brings a particularly tragic connection to this day. That is how many families have lost someone to overdose this year, so far in the city of Peterborough.
