‘No deep shift’ in Canada’s stance on NATO involvement in the Arctic: Trudeau says
Description
August 26, 2022
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Friday that there has been “no deep shift” in Canadian policy when it comes to NATO involvement in the Arctic, despite this week’s visit from NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg to the North. He said escalating Russian aggression has made it “timely” to share with NATO its efforts to protect the Arctic region.
