One in 6,000 babies around the world are affected by a genetic disorder that can slowly rob them of their ability to move, eat or be independent. And while great strides have been made in treatment for Spinal Muscular Atrophy, experts say getting access to those services is still an issue for many Canadians. Sharmeen Somani reports.
