Canada hasn’t ‘been perfect’ in support for Ukraine, Freeland says

Responding to a question about the federal government’s protection of Canadian staff in Ukraine after Russia’s invasion, Freeland responded by saying “we haven’t been perfect in our support for Ukraine.” She also defended the government by saying she believes “Canada is among the leaders among the western alliance when it comes to support for Ukraine.”
