Deadly veterinary sedative suspected in Peterborough opioid drug supply: health unit

It's called Xylazine, a veterinary sedative and pain reliever that is not approved for human use. Recently, it has made its way into Canada's unregulated drug supply, prompting a warning from the Canadian Centre for Substance Use and Addiction.
