Peterborough city council votes to keep Wolfe St. overflow shelter operational throughout winter

A close city council vote will see the emergency overflow shelter on Wolfe St. in Peterborough remain open until April 2023.
While nearby residents continue to raise concerns about vandalism and drug use, shelter users and homeless advocates call the vote ‘ life-saving.’
