Environment Canada and the Northern Tornadoes Project confirmed one tornado touched down on Sunday night, leaving a path of destruction from Marmora to Tweed.
Erin Derry-Bertand captured this video in Marmora of the storm.
Officials on Tuesday say at least one tornado touched down in the area with max wind speeds of 175 km/h.
