On Sunday’s episode of NBC’s “Face the Nation,” White House COVID-19 response co-ordinator Dr. Ashish Jha discussed the status of monkeypox in the United States. Currently there are over 2,000 cases and 80,000 tests are being administered per week, he said. It is expected that hundreds of thousands of more vaccines will become available in the coming weeks.
