B.C. RCMP provide update on ‘targeted’ shooting of Ripudaman Singh Malik

Sgt. David Lee with the RCMP Integrated Homicide Investigation Team provided an update on the shooting of Ripudaman Singh Malik, the man acquitted in the 1985 Air India bombings. He said the motive was still being determined but it was believed to be a “targeted” shooting. Lee also advised a white Honda CRV, believed to be connected to the shooting, was found burned in the area of 82nd Avenue and 122A Street.
