Rising interest rates spark big drop in Metro Vancouver home sales

Gone are the days of multiple offers and over-asking prices in Metro Vancouver real estate. A combination of fears of a recession and higher interest rates has led to a dramatic drop in sales. And for the first time in years, the market is starting to balance, but it’s still hard for first-time buyers. Kamil Karamali explains.
