Everyone in supply chain plays a part in reducing high gas prices, White House says
Description
July 5, 2022
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre held a briefing Tuesday, where she addressed high gas prices. When asked how U.S. President Joe Biden has gone from blaming high prices at the pump on Russia President Vladimir Putin, to big oil, to small business owners, Jean-Pierre said he means everyone along the supply and production chain should play their part in bringing down costs for Americans, when possible, because "customers should not be the first to pay and the last to benefit."
