Archibald calls for forensic audit, urges AFN to move forward from her suspension
Description
July 5, 2022
Assembly of First Nations (AFN) Chief RoseAnne Archibald said Tuesday that she wanted to see a forensic audit, claiming that staff payouts and contracts are what should be focused on. Archibald has been suspended over allegations of bullying and harassment of her staff, and said during the AFN’s general assembly that she had been asked to provide more than $1 million in payouts to four staffers, who reportedly lodged complaints against her, but she said she refused to do so.
