Police urging people to stop taking photos in Ontario canola fields

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking people to stop pulling over to snap photos in canola fields, as crop damage could cost farmers around $2,000 if at least one acre is affected. The Dufferin OPP detachment say they’re aware of two instances of canola field trespassing over the Canada Day long weekend in Melancthon Township, about 30 kilometres northwest of Orangeville.
