NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg announced Tuesday ahead of the leaders’ summit taking place in Madrid that leaders would endorse a “new strategic concept” on addressing climate change. He also announced the alliance aims to cut its military and civilian greenhouse gas emissions by at least 45 per cent by 2030 and be carbon neutral by 2050.
