Addressing the nation on Friday after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, U.S. President Joe Biden criticized the decision and urged Congress to restore the protection of women’s rights from the landmark ruling back into federal law. “The court [is] literally taking America back 150 years. This is a sad day for our country,” Biden said. “But it doesn’t mean the fight’s over.”
