FIFA Vice-President and CONCACAF President Victor Montagliani said Thursday that the selection process for host cities of the 2026 World Cup was “very difficult” and that while Edmonton was not chosen as one of the Canadian locations to host, there will still be opportunities to “grab a piece” of the World Cup over the next years leading to the event.
