Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Friday evening, during the final day of the Summit of the Americas, that Ottawa will welcome an additional 4,000 refugees from the Americas by 2028. He said Canada is also committed to tackling the migration crisis through investments in good governance and stable democracies.
