Wednesday marked Farah Nasser’s last day as co-anchor of Global News at 5:30 & 6:00. The accomplished journalist who, alongside Alan Carter, has anchored Toronto’s Global News at 5:30 & 6:00 since 2015, is moving to a new role with Global National. Beginning later this month Nasser will become the permanent weekend anchor of the network’s flagship national newscast on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Farah Nasser was joined by Alan Carter, as well as chief meteorologist Anthony Farnell and Global News host Susan Hay, as she said goodbye to Global Toronto viewers.
