After ten years of service attending to emergencies on the water, a Shuswap search and rescue group took a major step forward. The Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue station in Sicamous officially started construction on its own floating rescue base. Reporter Megan Turcato has more on how the new facility is expected to help first responders.
