It took two years for students and staff at Halifax West to prepare for a display in honour of Red Dress Day — an annual event in memory of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women across Canada. The red dresses were placed around the school to inspire conversations and questions around the tragedy of violence against Indigenous women and children. Amber Fryday reports.
