“Exploring Empathy” is a whole new view on eradicating stigma, an important concept which at times, can be a misunderstood catch-all phrase. This is the theme for National Mental Health Week, which has taken place for 71 years during the first week of May.
Jack Veitch is the Manager of Community Engagement and Education with the Canadian Mental Health Association Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge.
