Quebec and Montreal to take over massive transit project REM de l’Est from CDPQ Infra

Quebec’s provincial government and the City of Montreal are taking over a controversial rapid transit project from Quebec’s pension fund manager, CDPQ Infra. This after widespread backlash surfaced over the proposed elevated railway tracks in downtown Montreal for the REM de l’Est. Global’s Tim Sargeant reports on what this will mean for commuters.
