Spanish cyclist Eduard Prades saw the funny side after crashing as he celebrated what he thought was a victory on the opening stage of the Tour of Hellas on Tuesday. The rider’s saddle appeared to slip from under him as he crossed the finish line, leaving the 34-year-old sliding along the ground while other riders avoided crashing into him. To make matters worse he then discovered that he was in fact second, Aaron Gate of New Zealand having crossed the line nearly two minutes in front of Prades.
