U.S. President Joe Biden announced on Thursday an additional $800 million in new military aid to help Ukraine fight back against Russia’s invasion of the Donbas region. Equipment being sent will include heavy artillery, “dozens of howitzers” and 144,000 rounds of ammunition, as well as additional tactical drones, Biden said.
