U.K.’s Boris Johnson apologizes after getting fined for attending party during COVID-19 lockdown

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson apologized to U.K. lawmakers on Tuesday for the first time since he was fined by police for attending a party in his office while a COVID-19 lockdown was in place. “People had a right to expect better of their prime minister,” he said during his statement in the House.
