New initiative calls on citizens to record police actions

Red Coalition Watchdog is encouraging Montreal and Ottawa residents to take videos of police interventions. The aim is to create a database of officers behaving badly. But as Global’s Dan Spector reports, critics wonder if the initiative might create some unintended consequences.
