The Caribbean Princess was scheduled to stop in Victoria on Wednesday and Vancouver on Thursday. Those on board were told the ship required maintenance and they were told they had to get off in San Francisco and are being flown home. Passengers tell Global News there were many cases of COVID onboard which is confirmed by the Center for Disease Control. This comes as a blow for businesses in Vancouver eager to get back to busy days.
