Abdul Rahman Amiri, the brother of an interpreter who worked with the Canadian Armed Forces, says his family has been in a difficult financial situation after moving to Islamabad, awaiting for their IRCC application to be processed. He says his family was only able to have one meal in 24 hours for the past month. He says he needs closure and clear answer from IRCC on how long does he have to wait so he can make plans for his family, “our patience is over,” he says.
