Chief Myron Demkiw said Thursday that an officer was shot and killed during an “exchange of gunfire” while executing a search warrant. Demkiw said the search warrant was tied to a probe investigating multiple Toronto shootings, including one at the United States Consulate on University Avenue back in March.
