White House on conflict with Russia: ‘Starting WWIII is certainly not in our security interest’
Description
March 14, 2022
Asked on Monday about a possible red line for the U.S. in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, White House press secretary said there would be “severe consequences” if Russia were to use chemical weapons, but spoke out against direct U.S. military involvement in the war. “Starting world war three is certainly not in our security interest,” she said.
