Speaking in Brantford, Ont. on Wednesday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford discussed the upcoming announcement from Ontario’s top doctor, Dr. Kieran Moore, that mask mandates in many indoor public settings will be lifted on March 21. Ford said he believes his government has been the “most cautious” government when it comes to COVID-19 “in North America” but said he supports ending mask mandates if the science supports it. Ford also stated he believes mask use should be a “personal choice” for Ontario residents.
