More than three months after they were forced from their home by November’s destructive flood, 27 people from the Shackan Indian Band have finally returned home.
But they’re now facing a huge job to repair and rebuild their community while dealing with the trauma of more than 90 days of displacement and separation. Neetu Garcha reports.
