Well, it was back to the pool Friday morning for the Carl Oake Rotary Swim. The event went virtual last year due to COVID-19. UPDATE March 14: Organizers say the 36th annual event on Feb. 25 has already raised more than $50,000 thanks to the efforts of more than 50 swimmers and volunteers. Donations continue to be collected until March 18 at www.carloakerotaryswim.com. Proceeds will benefit Easter Seals and Rotary Club programs in the community. Since its inception the Carl Oake Rotary Swim has raised more than $1.3M for Easter Seals and Rotary projects.
