Former chief of Keeseekoose First Nation and search project manager Ted Quewezance announced on Tuesday the discovery of 54 potential unmarked graves at the sites of two residential schools in Saskatchewan through the use of ground-penetrating radar. He added that the discoveries only validated his community’s oral history of the abuse perpetrated by these institutions.
