Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told media on Friday that he spoke with U.S. President Joe Biden about the trucker protests blocking the Canada/U.S. border, specifically in Windsor, Ont., as they protest COVID-19 mandates. Trudeau said he discussed global and American influence on the protests, the U.S.-based flooding of 9-1-1 phone lines in Ottawa, the presence of Americans participating in blockades and the use of foreign money to fund this “illegal” activity.
