Beth Potter, president of the Tourism Industry Association of Canada, Dr. Dominik Mertz, division director of infectious diseases at McMaster University, and Dr. Zain Chagla, an infectious diseases physician, spoke Thursday about the pre-arrival testing for travellers to Canada. Chagla said he was calling for the dropping of the PCR test "at bare minimum," with Potter encouraging changes in order to help give travellers ahead of March Break and the summer have clarity on possible "hoops" they have to jump through to travel.

Chagla said he was calling for the dropping of the PCR test "at bare minimum," with Potter encouraging changes in order to help give travellers ahead of March Break and the summer have clarity on possible "hoops" they have to jump through to travel.
