When Chinese immigrants arrived in Montreal in the late 19th century, they carved out a section of the city for themselves now known as Chinatown. There they were able to build mutual support system against poverty and discrimination. In this the third segment of our series on Chinatown, Phil Carpenter explores how racism is now a barrier.
