Stuart Hickox, director of ONE Canada, a global campaign to end extreme poverty and preventable disease, urged the Canadian government on Wednesday to share more COVID-19 vaccines with poorer countries to prevent the next variant and therefore hasten the end of the coronavirus pandemic. He said the ongoing suffering and death and economic pain can be stopped by sharing vaccines, resources and knowledge with low-income nations.
