British Columbia is expanding visitation rights in long-term care, allowing one designated visitor per resident regardless of whether they have ‘essential’ status. Residents who have one designated essential visitor will be allowed to have an additional designated visitor, Dr. Bonnie Henry said in a Feb. 1, 2022 press conference.
