Chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam said Friday that the COVID-19 Omicron wave appears to have peaked in Canada. “Although daily reported cases remain at record high levels and continue to underestimate the true number of infections, multiple indicators suggest infections have peaked at the national level,” Tam said.
