Hundreds in Port Hope show support for truckers convoy

Hundreds gathered on Hwy. 401 overpass bridges in the Municipality of Port Hope on Thursday afternoon in support of a convoy of transports heading to Ottawa for a protest.

During the rally, a vehicle was involved in crash on Hwy. 401 in the eastbound lanes at Deer Park Road overpass. The driver was taken to Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg and later airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre.
