Several students were assessed by paramedics and one person was taken to hospital after a pickup truck and school bus collided just east of Peterborough on Thursday morning.
The collision around 8:30 a.m. occurred along Providence Line just south of Dillon Road in Otonabee-South Monaghan Township.
The bus ended up off the road and struck a tree.
The driver of the pickup was taken to hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
