It’s a milestone day for community groups and residents campaigning to preserve a historic part of Montreal. Quebec announced it will protect part of Chinatown through its cultural heritage act. As Olivia O’Malley reports, community leaders say it’s a great first step but more needs to be done to preserve the heritage district for future generations.
