White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday the administration is having ongoing discussions with officials related to the rollout of 5G service by AT&T and Verizon, as chief executives of major U.S. passenger and cargo airlines warn of an impending “catastrophic” aviation crisis. It comes as AT&T said it would pause turning on some 5G towers around certain airport runways in a bid to address an aviation safety standoff.
